BLAST out of this world, travel through space, and explore the moon! This innovative solar powered science kit that can be assembled into 3 different moon-exploring fleet modules: Space Shuttle, Moon Buggy, and Space Station.
Let this DIY project take your child’s imagination into a whole new orbit! Introduce your kids to the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. They will fall in love with Space Exploration as they build this entire Space Exploration Fleet. Step by step instructions make this project both challenging and fun for kids of all ages. All pieces are easy to assemble and snap together.
Harness the power of the sun to power your Space Fleet. Teach your kids about renewable energy. Show your kids how even toys can be powered by the sun using solar panels and rechargeable batteries. Each module is powered by a micro battery that can be recharged using the solar panel (placed in direct sunlight for 3-10 minutes) or by docking it to the AAA battery pack built in to the Space Station (connect for 10-30 seconds). After each charging the micro battery can be used for 50-60 seconds.
This kit makes an excellent addition to any home-school curriculum. It’s also great for an after-school project or a reward for an outstanding performer. Reward your kids for a job well done or give them the gift of Space just to show them that you care about them.
